About Us – Polstain Farm Cattery – Truro, Cornwall

Hello, we are Pip and Rod and we are looking forward to meeting you and your cats.

Opening a cattery has been in our minds and in the planning stage for quite a while, then over New Year 2017 we decided to get on with it! The plans became actions in April and having spent all of summer 2017 building we opened  in late  August 2017.

We both have a love of animals and always been around cats. Our 2 cats are now 11 years old and are  watching the comings and goings with interest.

Pip has recently  retired from social care and Rod has been in farming all his life.

The cattery is situated in its own secure, sheltered spot on the farm next to our home so we are able to  keep a close eye on our guests at all times.

As a small working farm we have sheep and cattle of our own and horses that stay here. We also have 2 daft dogs, both well behaved and live happily with our 2 cats. They are friendly and like meeting new people but will announce your arrival if you arrive out of opening hours!
