01/12/21 This cattery is a piece of mind for cat owners. My two cats have been in good care and returned happy from this cattery. The owner Pip had communicated with me when I was away so I wasn’t worried about my cats too. The cattery had also provided the cat’s delivery service which was very helpful following the return journey home. Katerina.

My darling Poppy is holidaying at the moment with Pip and this one of many at Polstain. Her accommodation at Polstain is second to none. The pens are spotlessly clean, light and airy. I am delighted with the care she gets and I have peace of mind while she is there. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to board your cat. I wouldn’t put mine anywhere else. Angela.

Our cat Smokey has just spent a few days here and we have been delighted by the facilities and level of care he received.The pens are very clean with a heated sleeping section and a play / functional section. Smokey doesn’t like catteries, so when he can out of his carrier and didn’t hiss at anyone, we knew we were onto a winner!Loved the pictures Pip sent us so we were reassured that Smokey was fine.
We returned early which was no problem and the location is ideal, literally 100 metres off the A30. We will have no hesitation booking another stay for Smokey.Thank you for looking after our grumpy old boy so well. Ruth

I would like to say an enormous thank you to Pip and Rod for their care of Lowen. Our cat has stayed with Pip and Rod many times in the last year. He is very precious to us and we are very cautious when leaving him with anyone, fussy parents I suppose. However we have no worries at Polstain, he goes in happily, settles quickly and seems very fond of Pip. Being a Birman he needs grooming and always comes back to us looking as if he has had a visit to a beauty parlour. We live almost an hours drive from Polstain and feel that it is well worth making the journey for the care he receives and the peace of mind it gives us. Alison.

A big thank you to Pip for looking after our rescue cat Sid during our holiday.
Sid came to us with problems aggression being just one. So it fell to Pip to persuade grumpy Sid who was unwell to take his 4 antibiotic tablets each day. I Know from experience it couldn’t have been easy but Pip worked wonders. Her love of cats really shows in her care and the immaculate facilities of her cattery, even grumpy Sid gave her 5 stars. Ronnie and Pebbles have just spent a week in the cattery. They both came out looking very happy, healthy and well groomed (both being longhaired). This is a lovely cattery, very clean and hygienic with everything the cats needed for their comfort. The cabin was spacious, warm and well ventilated. Ronnie needs daily medication and this was given at no extra cost. Pip is very helpful and we get the impression she really cares about cats. Over the years we have owned numerous cats and used many catteries around the area; we would not hesitate to recommend Polstain Farm Cattery and will be using them in the future. Chrys B
Just collected Jake (Aka Mr Handsome) from his 10 day holiday. He was very happy and relaxed in his comfortable, well ventilated and cosy ‘room’. At 10 years old he is very used to his own routine but has clearly adapted to his surroundings, even learning how to use a catflap between his inside and outside space. We wouldn’t hesitate to use postain farm cattery again. Thankyou Rod and Pip for taking such good care of him, and good luck with your new venture. 😊❤️😊❤️ Janet T
Collected Jaffa earlier this evening after a two night stay. Polstain Farm could not be any more accommodating. Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish and a perfect location for drop off and collection. Nothing is too much! Thank you for having him. Hannah
Amazing, caring, passionate about cats and special breeds. Oscar a Norwegian Forest has always been a little timid, not a normal trait. Rod and Pip have gone the extra mile for Oscar. He’s in great condition, he’s been well pampered, he’s had lots of cuddles, he’s been well groomed and now he’s home and straight outside for his adventures. He’s a very lucky cat.
